Tah dahh, it’s a TTAaaah? With that rather uneventful fanfare it’s time to vote on the musicals. We’d like to congratulate all of the cast, crew and creative team of all of the musicals over the last year. Below are those that received nominations.

BARE. 

Tuesday 12th-Saturday 16th May 2015, ADC

This show made us laugh and it made us cry. It received a solid 4.5 stars.

 

RENT

Wednesday 11th – Saturday 21st March 2015, ADC.

With a two week long run this show was described as ‘slick, well designed and well performed’. 

 

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Wednesday 15th- Saturday 18th October 2014, ADC.

Right at the start of the academic year this late show musical was ‘hilarious, moving, ridiculous and just that little bit disturbing’

 

Guys and Dolls

Wednesday 11th- Saturday 14th February 2015, Cripps Auditorium, Magdalene College.

This show had a strong and consistent cast and musical score

 

CUADC/Footlights Pantomime 2014: The Emperor’s New Clothes 

Wed 28 November – Sat 6 December 2014, ADC

Despite it’s length, this show was funny and well performed gaining itself a three star review

 

UKIP the Musical

Thursday 26th- Friday 27th February 2015, Girton Old Hall. 

Although this show lacks a review from the tab, it was certainly more popular than Farage; audiences were told to expect an ‘enjoyable if slightly surreal experience’

 

Witches of Eastwick

Tuesday 3rd – Saturday 7th February 2015, ADC.

This show was described as enthralling with strong lead performers

 

Francis Bacon Opera

Wednesday 6th- Saturday 9th May 2015, ADC.

Unconventional and yet inspiring this opera received a strong 4 stars.
