Brookes second year dies in tragic accident in Bali

An Oxford Brookes second year has died in a tragic accident in Bali.

Jack Camilleri, a member of the Oxford Brookes rowing club, was going into his second year of Business Management with Marketing.

The rower died two weeks ago whilst travelling across Indonesia. The circumstances behind the accident are still unknown.

An inquest into the incident was opened on Friday.

A JustGiving page aiming to raise £200,000 for a boat as a memorial has already reached over £11,000.

The campaign says: "Jack was a great friend to all he met and he touched so many lives. In his memory we would like to raise funds to put towards purchasing a rowing boat in his name as a memorial."
