Lauren McNamaraThe SU are running a club night as a send off for students for the summer.
The night will be held at Wahoo and Lola Lo’s, and will go on until 3pm, with a mixture of hip hob, R&B and a fuzzy ducks mashup.
There’s promised to be a free hog roast, a champagne reception, a chocolate fountain, stilt walkers and loads more.
They’ve even bagged noughties favourite rapper Chipmunk to do a live performance as part of the event, singing a few of his classic hits to get everyone pumped for the night.
Second year maths student Nick Perrott said: ‘It’s the end of term, so at least the SU are finally stepping up to do something for students to celebrate.
‘Since the cancellation of the EGB, students have no way to celebrate their end of year, especially those finishing for good this week. It’s only Wahoo, but at least it’s something.’
In typical SU fashion though, tickets will cost £9 on the door.
So, if you’re going for a spontaneous night out, you’re probably better off just heading to PT.
