We caught up with the couples on last night’s Take Me Out

Brookes held its very own version of Take Me Out at Emporium on Thursday and it was interesting to say the least. Despite the screen breaking right before the start, the willing contestants weren’t put off.

The audience witnessed a bench press fail, downing a bottle of rosé in five seconds and two blackouts. Love was definitely in the air as three lucky bachelors got themselves a date. The Tab spoke exclusively to the newly matched pairs fresh off the stage.

Oli was “over the moon” with his date, but it looks like it could have been planned: “We met outside Tesco a few hours before the show.”

Owen and Hope

There will be some licking tonight

“She caught my eye right from the start, she shone out from the whole crowd.”

We asked Hope her favourite thing about Owen, she said: “His dance moves.”

Sam and Trudy

Has Sam finally been tied down?

“I like Trudy’s cheeks.”
