What made you want to model?

I already model with Blackberry Models and I’ve done it before, I like how it’s being a live piece of art, you’re there to show off someone’s artwork.

How do you stay in shape?

I gym a lot and try to eat more protein.

What about makeup? Do you have to wear it as a guy?

I don’t wear make up outside of shows but you have to for some, they keep it very natural though.

Do you see yourself modelling in the future?

I want to go into Broadcast media and be in the public eye, not so sure if I’ll definitely continue.

Maria, first year, Environmental Science:

No make up and she doesn’t even need a filter.

So what made you decide to model?

I did a little when I was younger but mostly out of curiosity.

How do make sure you stay in shape?

I don’t really have a special diet, I’ll eat pretty much anything. I have a gym membership too, but I don’t really go very often.

What make up do you use?

Mac and Rimmel London are my favourites but I use a mix of brands.

Claudia, third year, Business Marketing

How did you get into modelling?

I’ve done a little before and really enjoyed it. I like being different people at the same time, each outfit change is like you’re a whole new person.

How do you keep your figure?

I just eat anything really, don’t have a particular diet or anything.

What about make up?

I love Bobbi Brown but I tend to keep it natural mostly.

And in the future?

I would love to work in fashion, more on the marketing side but if I got the chance to model I wouldn’t say no.

Soufian, third year, Business Management and Sport

Definitely the tallest model there.

Wow, how tall are you?!

6ft 5

So how did get into modelling?

This is actually my first time but I’d love to do some more after.

How do you stay in shape?

I’m just naturally good looking.

Do you see a future in fashion?

I’m interested in it and would definitely like to model some more but it won’t be my first priority.

Patricia, fourth year, Hospitality Management:

Modelling Kogowear

Have you done anything like this before?

I’ve modelled in Paris before and at Oxford Fashion Week. I’m also signed to Oxford Fashion Week’s agency.

Wow, that’s quite a lot, so how do you stay in shape for all those shows?

I’ve just got good genes really. I do gym occasionally and try to eat healthily too.

Do you see yourself modelling in the future?

I don’t think it would be full time but I’d always keep it on the sidelines.

Any make up tips?

Haha, no, I need a make up artist to look like this. I tend to be more natural but my favourite brands are Bobbi Brown and Mac.

What do you think of the outfits you have to wear?

I love this one, I’d definitely wear it out.

Imaan, first year, Business Management and Julie, second year, Architecture, President of the fashion society and one of the designers:

Imann (left) and Julie (right)

So what made you want to model?

Imaan: I modelled at the show last year and wanted to do it again.

Julie: I modelled last year too, and I’m one of the founders of the Fashion Society.

Did you eat anything special to stay in shape for the show?

Imaan: No, I was eating burgers before this.

Julie: Yeah, just eating normally.

Do you want to continue modelling in the future?

Imaan: I’d really like to continue.

Julie: Definitely will carry on part time.

Any make up tips?

Imaan: A smoky eye always looks good!

Julie: I love the cat eye, winged look.

Brands?

‘Mac, Estee Lauder and Naked!’
