‘Be at One’ cocktail bar opens in Oxford to replace Clem’s

RIP Clems

Last night, a brand new cocktail bar ‘Be at One’ had its grand opening.

You may have not even noticed there has been refurbishment of the premises since the start of the New Year when the property was bought.

We got to check out the new cocktail bar that will be replacing the night club permanently  and chatted to Sarah Swaysland, Marketing Manager.

You didn’t get this class in Clems

The company said they chose Oxford as the 24th location for the chain of bars because you can “always guarantee a good night out in Oxford”.

She said “I have always thought of Oxford to be synonymous with university students”. The proposed student night will be Monday with the happy hour lasting until midnight.

The late license the company has obtained means for a few nights a week, the bar will be open until 3:00am which matches and in some cases surpasses that of other local bars in the area.

“We’re here to party” she said. And with free cocktails all night, so were we.

VIP access

From a choice of 147 cocktails and 10 non-alcoholic juices, we opted for a Sea Breeze and a fruit puree based drink with a strong emphasis on large amounts of ice.

The swanky interior, well trained bar tenders and old school music made for a good night.

The bar officially relaunches in two weeks time, and also has an app for daily drinks deals.
