Hannah Kaur SoomalThe former prison turned exquisite boutique hotel, Malmasion Oxford, held the closing Oxford Fashion week runway event and showcased beautiful couture pieces.
We saw designs from established and emerging couture designers. Embellished dresses, traditional lace inspired gowns and fine tailored suits strutted down the corridors prisoners once used.
This spectacular production saw romantic designs we could only visualise in fairy-tales.
Lui’s evening wear stood out for simple yet dramatic designs, while Wen Tan’s contemporary take on classics had our attention.
