It’s getting close to essay deadlines and the start of revision but you can probably go with putting it off another day so here’s The Tab’s guide to procrastinating:

1. Read The Tab

It’s OK. We won’t tell.

2. Social Media

The most obvious. Twitter can take up hours of your time. You could even try and learn how to use Google Plus (no, we don’t know what it is either.)

Don’t forget to follow The Tab on Twitter and like us on Facebook!

3. Daily Mail Side Bar of Shame

Suddenly you find hourly updates on the stars of Strictly riveting.

4. Tidy Up

Last nights washing up? Somebody else’s washing up? All suddenly very important. If only Mum could see you now.

5. Bake

The term ‘pro-cake-stination’ or (procrastin-cake-ing) coined during a particularly essay filled period. And you’ll make your housemates happy.

6. Create a masterpiece

Be it via doodling, painting, photo-shopping. Get creative. Who knows, you could be the next Damien Hurst?

7. Make to-do lists

List out everything you have to do, then don’t do it.

8. Online Shop

Plan your next shopping spree. The sales are coming and it’s always best to be prepared.

9. Catch Up on the TV

Missed ‘Snow, Sex and Suspicious Parents’? iPlayer: making the unmissable, procrastination.
