Cold Snap Coming To Oxford

TABSCLUSIVE: Winter is coming

Brace yourself because the temperatures are about to plummet. Winter it seems has truly arrived with temperatures set to hit minus figures during the coldest period.

With RAF Benson (Royal Air Force station in South Oxfordshire) often being singled out by the BBC as one of the coldest places in the country, we are bound to feel the worst of it.

There’s even a chance of snow. While it might not be enough to stop lectures, knowing England there’ll probably be complete transport chaos at the first sight of a flurry which means no chance of escaping home to free heating and hot water.

Could we see scenes like this again this week? Unlikely

After the anti-climax of St Jude we aren’t holding our breath but just in case the weather guys have got it right this time we recommend cracking out snow boots, touch-screen friendly gloves and extra layers. Get the supplies in (pizza, mulled wine, general carbs) and turn the heating up that extra notch.

Oh, and at least we’re not in Canada.
