Someone has written a whole DnB song about how they met their boyfriend at Lakota

She met her boyfriend in the queue for a rave put on by the artists who later produced the song with her

A singer and song writer from Bristol has written a Liquid DnB track in dedication to the venue she met her boyfriend, Lakota.

“A Little Sound” posted the song with DnB artists Technimatic on her TikTok account, accompanied with a video montage of memories and pictures with her boyfriend.

She captioned it, “I wrote this song about the night I met my boyfriend at a rave in Bristol” and “It’s called ‘Lakota’ with Technimatic and means a lot to me”.

The song was posted on TikTok in October and, since then, has amassed over 130,000 views with many people commenting on it saying they also met their boyfriends and girlfriends at raves.

A Little Sound told The Bristol Tab that the song is about the night she met her boyfriend waiting in line for a Technimatic set at Lakota, the artists who would later produce the song with her. She said: “The club means a lot to both of us and other ravers and I’m so happy with the response of others being able to relate to the lyrics.”

A Little Sound has been a songwriter and vocalist for DnB for about a year and a half. The song ‘Lakota’ has had over one million streams on her Spotify so far.
