Here’s what to expect from FUZE 2020
You don’t want to miss it
Founded in 2003, FUZE is now the largest, student-led fashion show in the country.
Run solely by students from both Bristol University and UWE, it is a spectacle of talent across dance, music and fashion.
The event spans Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March at the Loco Klub, the group having teamed up with varying brands who are making a difference in the clothing industry.
But it isn’t just a fashion show. The event begins with their ‘Marketplace’ event, where the audience can explore both local and national brands, all while sampling food and drink from their street market section.
Proceeds will go to Second Step, a mental health charity based in Bristol. The fashion show has raised over £120,000 during the past 14 years for a variety of causes around the city, ranging from rehabilitation facilities to helping victims of sexual assault.
This year’s themes of “metamorphosis” is related to the charity they are raising money for, recognising the struggle of discussing these topics.
The team aim to encourage the conversation about these difficult themes and inspire positive change in how we do so.
The show promises to provide entertainment, while supporting and encouraging important ethics and discussions. It has a track record of selling out fast, so what are you waiting for?
