Motion has been crowned 11th best club in the world

Surely this makes the price of the Uber worth it

Motion has been crowned 11th best nightclub in the world in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs list.

Motion scored second best compared with other UK clubs after being narrowly beaten by Printworks in London, which won 9th place in the world. However, Motion placed higher than other UK clubs such as Fabric and Ministry of Sound.

The club recently launched an additional venue attached to its main room called the Marble Factory. This has been a popular addition, with DJs such as Skepsis performing in the space.

The Top 100 list is a prestigious, internationally recognised ranking and has been running since 2005. Previously only DJs could have a say, but the vote was opened to the public in 2011.

Motion jumped up the rankings this year, as it placed 16th in the world in 2018.

DJ Mag also announced Motion as 'Best Large Club' in its Best of British awards in December 2018. In an article, DJ Mag praised the unique warehouse setting of Motion; "the club makes use of the buildings original features – including a steel amphitheatre-style mezzanine – to create a slick and effective aesthetic."
