Love Island’s Marcel is coming to Bristol next month
But he’s not bringing the Blazin’ Squad
Bristol has been rocked by the news that reality TV heart-throb Marcel Somerville is due to appear at Gravity night club next month.
Following successive relaunches of the much fabled Bunker brand, the club hopes the big name star will pull the punters in as part of their new 'Skye Saturdays' night.
Appropriately enough for self-described "tall, dark and handsome" Marcel, the club requires a "smart and sexy" dress code for the night.
At present, the former Blazin' Squad star is enjoying a very public romance with fellow Love Island contestant Gabby. However, should the relationship sour upon returning to Britain, there will likely be a smorgasbord of singletons queuing up to have their hearts mended by "Dr Marcel".
According to event organisers Nite Vision: "Marcel is joining us for meet & greet. He will be taking photos and partying with Love Island fans".
Unfortunately the date of Marcel's 'headlining' appearance coincides with the middle of university holidays, to the consternation of UWE and UoB students everywhere.
One third year lawyer told The Tab she was "devastated" by the timing- "Blazin' Squad was my childhood. If I wasn't in Myanmar then, I'd have LOVED to have seen him!"
For those who are available, tickets can be booked through the Gravity Facebook event here.
