
Bernie Sanders is coming to Bristol
He’ll be speaking at an event in June
It has been revealed that Bernie Sanders will be one of the speakers at this year’s Bristol Festival of Ideas.
The politician, activist and bestselling author will be speaking at St Georges, Bristol on Saturday 3rd of June.
According to the Bristol 24/7, he will share the experiences and ideas that shaped his revolutionary campaign for the Democratic primary elections.
The Festival of Ideas holds over 150 events each year at different venues around the city, aiming to inspire debate and discussion and celebrate the work of great writers and thinkers.
After the news was released this morning, the St George’s booking site crashed under unprecedented demand. Tickets for the event sold out in 50 minutes.
Students still wishing to #FeeltheBern can apply to join the waiting list for a chance to see Mr Sanders in action.
