Keep an eye out for Bristol Pink Week

Next week is Breast Cancer Awareness Week, and there will be events taking place throughout the week to promote this fantastic cause.

The scheme started in Cambridge in memory of Dina Rabinovitch, a sufferer of breast cancer who was also a renowned journalist, who wrote regular columns on her experiences for The Guardian.

She tragically passed away in 2007, and now Pink Week is now coming to Bristol with the aim of going nationwide.

Make sure to take part

Events will be taking place throughout the week, and here is the programme:

Monday 23rd March: 

Varsity and Pink Week will combine for a Pink Clubnight at Bunker. Make sure to get a ticket!

Tuesday 24th March:

Professor Paraskeva, Head of the School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine will address an audience at Wills Memorial Building, followed by a presentation from a representative from the charity Coppafeel.

Wednesday 25th March

A campus-wide cake and smoothie sale, stalls will be outside The Hawthorns, Wills Memorial Building and the Sports Centre.
