Donervan to be Doner-banned?

First Blurred Lines, now this

Out-of-touch uni bosses plan to boot out Jason Donervan from his current location, and have already met with the local council about the matter.

According to Epigram, there are strong voices within senior management calling for Jason Donervan to be removed from the public land outside of Beacon House which the uni intends to use as a social hub and study space.

It was reported uni chiefs met with Bristol City Council on Thursday to discuss ways to take “control of the forecourt” area outside the building where Donervan is currently located every evening.

He might be evicted so the uni can put in some new signposts

University Bursar and Head of Asset Management Patrick Finch said authorities hope to improve the paving and landscape of the area and put in improved signage to link the campus to the union building.

As a result of these changes, Jason Donervan (real name Mustafa Durdu) may be asked to find a new home for his van.

Jason/Mustafa said: “They can’t do something like this behind our back.

“If they attempt something like this behind our backs, I will go there and sit outside in protest, I will take them to court, to the High Court, to the European Court of Human Rights if need be.”

Should Jason Donervan be forced to move, it would bring an end to a fifteen year stay on the Triangle for the WKD 2010 Golden Kebab Award winner.

Bristol City Council have been approached for comment but are yet to respond.
