Review: Cirque Du Soul at Lakota
Cirque Du Soul at Lakota, 6th March.
Bristol’s legendary nightclub, Lakota, sold out on Bristol’s third Cirque Du Soul night. Tickets on first release were £8.00, rising to £15 on the fourth.
According to the night’s owners, ‘Cirque Du Soul is a travelling collective energy of colour, magic and dance. Only the most vibrant and open-minded party goers need apply’. The night is a ‘collection of house, funk, soul, electro-swing, disco, garage and hip-hop this side of Chicago’.
The night was true to its description, having real diversity and attracting a garish, vibrant crowd.
Lakota sold about 700 tickets for the event so the atmosphere was buzzing, so much so that one of our reporters took to the stage clapping:
From Scuba to LTJ, Lakota has always managed to attract big names. For those bored of the monotony and cost of Motion, check out some other Lakota nights coming soon; enjoyable as they are diverse.
Just a few upcoming nights at Lakota:

- 22nd March: Get Born – Addison Grove, Bok Bok, Wen, Decka Sound.
