Illusionist Derren Brown has denied reports he plans to use his powers to turn straight men gay.
In an interview with Gay Times, the Bristol Uni graduate said: “I was thinking about this the other day — it would be interesting wouldn’t it? To take a gay guy and make him straight and a straight guy and make him gay.”
But now Brown, who studied German and Law 20 years ago, said his comments were misconstrued and he has no plans to use a “mind experiment” to change sexuality.
He tweeted: “It’s odd, seeing as in the original GT article I said changing sexuality WOULDN’T work. Still, it was a bit of intrigue over breakfast.”
