Rugby Union

Joe Hughes, 3rd year, Bsc Business & Management (Men’s Club Captain)

Where do you live? Blackall Road.

What’s your favourite night? Wednesday socials at Jogaround then Watch Piece (Walkies and Timepeace).

What are you currently lifting in the gym? I squat 250kg.

Do you have any pre-match rituals? Sweet potato, 2 bananas, and any song by Red Hot Chilli Peppers or The Manor.

Tell us something about you others won’t know: My great grandmother’s cousin was second in command on the Titanic.

Juanita-Jade Johnson, 3rd year, International Relations (Women’s Club Captain)

What’s your favourite night? Wednesday Timepiece.

What are you currently lifting in the gym? I squat about 80/85kg and bench around 50kg.

Do you have any pre-match rituals? I have a big team meal with lots of garlic bread.

Tell us something about you others won’t know: I’ve survived being stranded in a desert and falling off of a cliff.

Ryan Sherreard, 3rd year, Business and Management (Men’s Club Co-Captain)

Where do you live? Danes Road.

What’s your favourite night? Cheesy Tuesdays.

What are you currently lifting in the gym? I skip leg day.

Do you have any pre-match rituals? Nutmegging Bradley Silva in the warm-up.

Bradley Silva, 3rd year, Economics & Finance (Men’s Club Co-Captain)

Where do you live? Danes Road.

What’s your favourite night? Wednesdays at Timepeace under the lights.

What are you currently lifting in the gym? I squat 100kg for sets (good form).

Do you have any pre-match rituals? Meal Deal from Co-Op on the journey to an away day.

Tell us something about you others won’t know: I’ve nutmegged every club member I’ve ever trained with.

Amy Clegg, 3rd year, BSc Psychology with Sports and Exercise Science (Women’s Club Captain)

Where do you live? Near Polsloe road.

What’s your favourite night? Timepeace Wednesdays!

Do you have any pre-match rituals? Pre-game banana because potassium is key and ‘Waka Waka’ by Shakira in the changing rooms with the squad.

Tell us something about you others won’t know: I’m also chair of Devon FA Youth Council and Community Football Coach at Exeter City FC. I bleed green.

What are you currently lifting in the gym? Pre-injury 65kg and post-injury 5kg.

Tell us something interesting about you: Creepy Crawley is my nickname.

Hockey

Connor Gould, 3rd year, History (Men’s Club Captain)

 Where do you live? Old Park Road.

What’s your favourite night? Timepeace Wednesdays.

What are you currently lifting in the gym? Squat 80kg.

Tell us something about you others won’t know: I nutmegged Alex Dansen (England Ladies Centre Forward) in a charity match.

Seun Olusanya, 5th year, Medicine (Women’s Captain)

Where do you live? St Anne’s (Firmly in Lukey-Ville).

What’s your favourite night? Classic Timepeace Wednesday.

What are you currently lifting in the gym? I bench 47kg and deadlift 95kg.

Do you have any pre-match rituals? 20-minute snooze, pumped up music, a coffee, and a stroll.

Anton ‘Banton’ Marsh, 3rd year, Sport and Health Sciences (Men’s Club Captain)

Where do you live? Sandford Walk.

What’s your favourite night? Wednesdays at Timepiece.

What are you currently lifting in the gym? My 1RM on bench is 100kg, 1RM deadlift is 175kg and 1RM squat is 140kg.

Tell us something about you others won’t know: I’m an adrenaline junkie, and I also play basketball in the Philippines.

Lacrosse

Andrew Horace Hayward, 4th year, Classics and French (Men’s Club Captain)

Where do you live? Mount Pleasant.

What’s your favourite night? Thursdays at Dirty Beat.

What are you currently lifting in the gym? I got a C in GCSE woodwork if that’s what you mean.

Do you have any pre-match rituals? Moana singalong with the boys.

Tell us something about you others won’t know: I’m the youngest seeker for Exeter in a century.

Fenella Lockyer, 3rd year, History (Women’s Club Captain)

What’s your favourite night? One where I’m in bed before 10.

Do you have any pre-match rituals? Eating a ton of chocolate.

Tell us something about you others won’t know: I ran over my sister with a lawn mower when I was younger. It was not the best move.
