There were three main party rooms. The kitchen was transformed into a dance floor with decks, strobe lighting, smoke machines and industrial speakers. Other rooms in the house were more relaxed with a ball pit in the front room and a room full of sweets and mattresses upstairs.

It took weeks for Meg, Liam, Elliot and Will to organise the party. Everything people could see at the event had been voted on beforehand through Yubl. To attend, each guest downloaded Yubl and voted through the app’s unique voting functions.

Welsh and Sociology grad Meg said: “Our ambition was to throw the best house party Cardiff has ever seen. We have a lot of parties in Cardiff but you don’t remember many of them, so we hoped to make this one special.”
