We caught up with five members of one of the most talked about teams on campus – the rugby boys.
Joe, Wilf, Duncan, George and Billy chatted to us over some Wagamama’s Chicken Katsu curry, courtesy of Deliveroo.
They’re not the stereotypical rugby lads you’d expect. Forget about rumours of their reputation, only two of them are single. They filled us in on all the latest on the members of their prestigious team and grilled them on some quick fire questions including their celeb heroes and guilty pleasures.

Who was the last person you went on a date with?
A girl called Georgia. We went to Bar 97 which is basically a cocktail bar. Think it went well but it fizzled out for various reasons.
How many people did you get with during freshers?
Just one, I was a bit tied down.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
I actually wanted to be in the army, now I want to go into Law or own my own brewery and brew my own beer.
How quickly can you down a pint?
10 seconds, I’m very bad at it.
What’s your go to fancy dress outfit?
Awful shirt, I’ve got many a good collection of awful shirts.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Chick flicks -The Proposal in particular.

Going as tennis players – I’ve got this really old skimpy Fred Perry outfit from 30 years ago so usually that.

It’s pretty gross, picking my toenails and leaving them around places.

Tom Hardy, he’s my favourite actor. He cracked me up as Bronson and as the Krays and every girl loves him. Big fan.

A girl from London. I’m not too big on dating if I’m honest, if I’m seeing a girl or have a girlfriend then I’d take them out for dinner or somewhere nice to drink. But I haven’t been on many proper dates. I’d quite like to try it though I guess.

Probably dressing up as a girl, I normally just raid my girlfriends cupboard and just throw on any of her clothes. My last outfit was an angel, I wore a skirt and a halo.
