Every Bournemouth Takeaway’s Hygiene Ratings Revealed!

I don't know about you, but I've found myself eating at some questionable places during my time in Bournemouth.

But don't worry those stumbling home after a night out! Thanks to the Food Standard Agency's ratings, the Bournemouth Tab are here to help you avoid making the same mistakes I have in the wee hours of the morning, and are giving you the /5 hygiene ratings for some of your faves!

In no particular order, here are ten takeaway hotspots from the new assessment.

1. Jazz Fast Food Takeaway: 4/5

If you've ever been to a Cameo Wednesday, guaranteed this place have tried to lure you in with with the pizza and free chips deal, which to be honest I'm not sure is even legit. But, not a bad rating and also…cheesy chips. This can't go wrong in my book.

2. CHKN station: 3/5

They aren't exactly known for having the best hygiene, but 3/5 is a generally satisfactory rating. Could be worse, but trust me, it could be better.

3. Cafe Fresco Grill: 5/5

Enough said. Proof is in the burgers. You can thank me later.

4. Bistro Pizza: 4/5
Pizza, kebabs, burgers and good hygiene, what more could you want?

5. Bournemouth Pizza: n/a

Well this is suspicious…This couldn't be found on the Food Standard Agency's website, and frankly, that scares me.

Regrettably, most nights out in first year ended here for me, and if I could give you any advice, please don't get the pepperoni pizza.

6. Mega Kebab & Pizza: 2/5

A moment of silence please. This is the worst news, I wish I knew this before I gave them all my money for unhygienic chips.

7. Roosters piri piri: 5/5

Fair play, to a perfect score. Might have to go here to satisfy my chicken cravings from now on.

8. Pizza Go Go: 5/5

Absolutely killing the pizza game hygiene-wise.

9. Subway: 5/5

Not surprised to be honest, they're a popular chain but its nice to be sure. Thanks Subway we love you.

10. Wok4go: 3/5

Yikes. Still going to go though. Also is it just me who thought it was 'Wok 2 go?'
