Buffalo Bar is reopening in Lansdowne this month

Earlier in the year, we recieved the sad news that Buffalo Bar in Winton was closing down.

Everyone feared that this would mean we could no longer enjoy the burgers for a quid deal, and other great events this place hosted.

But fear not, as Buffalo is reopening its doors – and this time, it's in Lansdowne.

This comes as the popular live music venue is now carrying out its plans to expand its venues across the area of Bournemouth.

Tom Russell, owner of Buffalo Bar previously told The Tab Bournmouth about the first closure: "We are closing, and we are moving elsewhere.

"Buffalo as a brand isn't going anywhere, we're just moving – that's all."

And he wasn't lying, here it is:

The exterior already looks, if we may say so, amazing.

The new site in Lansdowne is next door to the Old Fire Station – which is a popular site for students. So Lollipop pres could be sorted forever.

It has now been announced that the bar will be opening on the 9th – that's next Friday.

So expect a full relaunch party.

I wonder if they will still have the murals?
