Friday 2nd June: The Winchester Student Send Off
The last ever student night at the Winchester. There’s a massive line-up of everyone’s favourite DJs from over the years and entry is £3 all night- amazing. RIP The Winch x
Saturday 3rd June: SUBU Summer Ball
Obviously the most important one is SUBU Summer Ball (the best summer ball in the country). Tickets have completely sold out and due to such high demand, an additional 500 tickets were put on sale, which sold out ridiculously fast. If you’re lucky enough to have one then you can dance away to Chase and Status in a field with free funfair rides for the whole day.
2nd – 4th June: Bournemouth’s Old Time Fun Fair
This is the last weekend to enjoy Bournemouth’s fun fair at the pier. It’s open from 10am-10pm and has the most attractions it’s ever had. There’s money saving offers if you buy more tokens so if you and your friends pool your money together, you can get more out of it!
Saturday 10th June: Dorset Dinghy Day
Spend the day floating down the river in a dinghy or on some kind of inflatable in an event that’s certain to float your boat (wow). It’s free admission and it starts at 12 and promises a day of good clean fun. Yeah this is a thing, and we’re totally here for it.
16th – 25th June: Bournemouth Food and Drink Festival
Bournemouth Square plays host to this year’s food and drink festival, with street food stalls and live music all day. The festival is free to attend and there’s even an Elvis impersonator performing. How could you say no?
All Summer: Bournemouth Beach
Bournemouth’s beach is no doubt the best beach in the country, and when the sun is out it’s even better. Goodbye to days of revision and hello to days of sunbathing and having BBQs on the beach. Heaven.
