Digbeth Dining Club comes to UoB for xpLosION

Digbeth Dining Club is going to be at Bournbrook 3G for xpLosION this Saturday as the Birmingham Lions take on the Swansea Titans.

The street food event has a fully stocked bar and 5 unique vedors coming to campus:

Packed out every weekend, Digbeth Dining Club is a a great place for any foodies. The Birmingham Lions told The Birmingham Tab that it is one of their favourite things about Birmingham, so they wanted to spread the word by contacting Digbeth Dining Club to see if they could bring some vendors down, and lucky us, they agreed!

The event is free to enter and will include a hige firework display at the end of the game, with performances from UoB Pussycats and Birmingham University Dance Society at half time.

The Birmingham Tab spoke to the President of UoB American Football, Charlie Pearson, who said:

"XpLosION is the biggest sporting event on campus, and the crowd sizes show that, with over 3000 regularly filling out the bank. This year's fixture is against the Swansea Titans, and both of us are going into the game having won our first two of the season – winner of this goes top of the league! It'll be a fast paced game, with big plays, and even bigger hits"

Kick off is at 4:30pm, but food will be available from 4pm, so get down there early to avoid long lines! Thousands of students are expected to flock down to the pitches to show some support for the the team.
