A bar in Birmingham has been named the top place for gin in the UK
Tonic at the ready
Jessica Newman40 St Paul's has the new title of Best Gin List in the country. With over 140 types of gin on offer, industry experts have claimed it has the best gin selection in the country.
The bar, which is situated in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham has been praised by the Imbibe Drinks List of the Year Awards.
The gin menu is split into catagories – floral, citrus, juniper and Old Tom and each catagory begins with a flavour wheel so drinkers have a clear idea of what it will taste like.

The bar was opened in Decemeber 2015 by Amanjot Singh, in a building which doesn't even have the name on the front door.
A spokesperson for 40 St Paul's said: "We're so proud to have won Best Gin List, and its vindication for the sixth months' work it took to write."
