2015 was a no-show for the Coca-Cola Christmas truck in Birmingham. People were angry. Chaos ensued. Birmingham Mail reported on many furious statements made by the public. Coca-Cola listened.

This year, the big red lorry is heading to Birmingham to join in the festivities at the German Christmas Market in St Martin’s Square on December 17th. The 13 tonne truck has been touring the UK around Christmas time for the last 5 years and for many people the start of the tour signals the start of the seasonal festivities. The nationwide tour is set to begin on 17th November, travelling to 44 locations across the country in time for Christmas.

However, we shouldn’t just be excited for the return of the truck itself, because 2016 heralds the start of the truck’s winter wonderland experience. Once the sun sets, the truck itself will screen a short Christmas animation for visitors to watch.

There’s nothing better than getting into the Christmas spirit and spreading Christmas cheer, eh?
