“Ellie Bean” Keiller elected as new Guild President

The Guild Officer team for 2016/17 were announced last night in a live broadcast from the Guild. 

After a week of rigorous campaigning across campus, the votes are in and the new Guild Officer team for the next academic year has been announced.

Ellie Keiller has been crowned the new Guild President for the next academic year, and she will be taking over from current Guild President Jack Mably in July.

Queen Bean

Current Welfare Officer Ross Strong was reelected, and will be continuing his work reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and improving sexual health on campus next academic year.

Chris Wilkinson will be taking over the position of Education Officer from Izzy Lenga, promising to help students own, maximise and customise their degrees.

Brandon Hattiloney was elected as the new Representation and Resources Officer, taking over from Daisy Lindlar, and Natalie “Foxy Coxy” Cox will be increasing society development as your new Activities and Development Officer.

Izzie “Busy Bee” Nicolds will be continuing Roberto Sorrentino’s work towards a safer Selly as your new Housing and Community Officer and Georgie “More-Gains” Freeman will be increasing social sport on campus in her role as Sport Officer.

Rose Bennett was also reelected to continue her role as Postgraduate Student Officer.
