They speak for themselves

It’s a universal truth your brows can make or break your entire face.

Whether you like them big and bushy or thin and arched, it’s important to have your brow game on point.

As Dani Braithwaite, a second year Sports Science student, once said: “Brows are make or break for me, I make brow contact before eye contact.”

Inspired by the celebs heading up the brow trends such as Cara Delevingne, we took it upon ourselves to browse campus for some brow-spiration.

Jade Woodhouse, a second year English Lit Student said to keep her brows beautiful “they require grooming, they can be quite unruly at times”.

Her brow icon is actress Lily Collins.

Gavan Nijjar, an Economics Student, thinks it’s best to leave his eyebrows dark and ominous.

He said: “Leave the grooming to the girls.”

Caitlin Edwards’ were our personal favourites. They have the perfect natural arch and are very low maintenance too.

Chloe Aspden is a first year Art History student. Her brow ritual seems pretty intense, but it’s working.

She said: “My boyfriend tells me he loves them.”

The Tab met Matt Silverman a Drama student whose sassy eyebrows do the talking.

He said: “My raised eyebrows are my signature look.”

After talking to Matt it became obvious his brows do have a life of their own: he seems to be completely unaware of when the raised diva strikes.
