A video by Defend Education captures security staff dragging students out of “one of his distinguished lecture series.”

The 3 minute video shows several students being removed from Eastwood’s lecture after they interrupt him.

The students stand up one by one, shouting out what they see as injustices following the arrests and suspensions of students at the protest on 29th January.

At 0:57 one security staff attempts to swipe one student’s notes, but fails.

At 1:38, the video shows security forcibly removing a banner from protesters on stage.

One student criticised Eastwood saying, “The university is supposed to be a place of learning and you have turned it into a factory.”

Another said: “This is one of the worst universities in the country for management bullying…How many students have you talked to? How many of their stories have you heard?”

The video claims “security dragged this student out by twisting her arm, causing her severe pain.”
