Hillary Clinton is getting an honorary degree from QUB today

Former US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is due to receive an honorary degree from Queen's University Belfast today.

The university's President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Greer said: "Secretary Clinton will be awarded the degree of Doctor of Laws (LLD) for her exceptional public service in the USA and globally, and for her outstanding contribution to peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland."

The event takes place at 4pm in the Whitla Hall, which is at full capacity.
