Queen’s is the 29th best uni in the UK, World Rankings reveal

The uni remains in the UK top 30, but slips to 202nd worldwide

QS World University Rankings have released their figures for 2018, and Queen's University Belfast has placed 29th in the UK, and 202nd worldwide.

The Russell Group uni has fallen a few places this year, having made it into the top 200 worldwide universities last year at a position of 195th.

Despite this blow, QUB remains in the top 30 in the UK, solidifying it's standing as a world class university.

The top 5 spots in the UK were dominated by the usual key players, with Cambridge, Oxford, UCL, Imperial College London, and King's College London reigning over other universities. Cambridge and Oxford ranked 5th and 6th in the world, respectively.
