QUB soars in rankings to be named 33rd best university in the UK

No biggie

QUB is the 33rd best university in the country – coming in just behind Queen Mary University of London and Leicester in 31st and 32nd respectively – according to new rankings released today.

We’ve improved since last year when we came 36th, which just shows we cannot be stopped (slow but steady).

The Complete University Guide rankings also rated us highly for student satisfaction, with 4.12 out of a possible five points. Our honours prospects were also good, with 78.3 per cent of us graduating with a 2.2 or above.

Accounting and Finance was rated our best subject, with Agriculture and Forestry and Anatomy and Physiology coming second and third respectively.

Spare a thought though for University of Ulster who came in a dismal 70th. Adding insult to injury, they’ve gone down four places in a year. Could be worse eh?
