QUB is the most sleep-deprived uni in the UK

Too many nights at Thompson’s will do that to you

Working so hard you’re constantly napping in the McClay? Don’t worry, you’re not alone.

According to The Tab’s sleep survey, Queen’s is the most sleep-deprived uni in the country.

We asked nearly 6,000 students how many hours sleep they got on average, and 14 per cent of QUB students said they got less than six hours sleep.

Newcastle and Trent came in at joint second, with 13 per cent of their students both saying they didn’t get enough sleep.

At the bottom, Bath were the best rested, with only three per cent sleeping for less than six hours.

Doctors recommend you get at least seven hours sleep – but on average, seven per cent of respondents said they got less than six hours.

Clearly they’re the ones who live in the Holylands.
