Queen’s is the 22nd most employable uni in the UK

Hallelujah

QS has released their Graduate Employability rankings for 2016, with Queen’s coming in at 151-200 globally.

QUB has also ranked 22nd for employability in the UK, with first place being given to Cambridge.

Not too shabby

The league table uses indicators of employer reputation, partnerships with employers, alumni outcomes, employers’ presence on campus and graduate employment rate to calculate the rankings.

Third year Film Studies student, Lena Minford said: “I guess it’s good for the university. They appear to be very appealing to potential students but it still doesn’t guarantee jobs.

“I mean, yes they may have a high success rate but it also depends on whether or not your area of study is booming per say or jobs are scarce.”

University of Ulster didn’t even make the list. Oops.
