A puppy room is coming to QUBSU to help us with exam stress

Yummy

The SU are bringing a puppy room to Queen’s to help relieve exam stress.

In conjunction with the QUBSU student council’s Are Ye Well campaign, Queen’s is offering its students a chance to lower their stress levels in a unique way.

With the McClay set to open 24 hours a day there is no escaping the revision and coursework deadlines.

We’re excited

The Queen’s Student’s Union’s Are Ye Well campaign is working in conjunction with Guide Dogs Northern Ireland, the university is offering its students a chance to alleviate distress and allow them to relax.

And how? By letting them play with puppies. Yes. You heard that right.

The new programme will be open during January exams and is set to offer “a guide dog experience”.

Studies have shown that the presence of an animal companion can in fact regulate one’s autonomic functions, which will be good news for anyone in that mid-January slump pulling out their hair, considering if that full time job in McDonald’s is really all that bad.
