Grainne McKinneyIt seems that Boojum’s mouth-watering burritos, tasty tacos and fabulous fajitas are what the students of Belfast love to munch on.
An impressive score of 221 votes saw Boojum crowned as the best, though Maggie Mays came a close second, losing out by only 4 votes.
Sophia Gaston, an employee at Boojum, was ecstatic with her achievement.
She said: “We’re more than happy to serve Belfast’s students, some of them multiple times daily.”
Not surprising given the constant queue outside, and the lengths people will go to to obtain a Boojum addict t-shirt.
Third year History student Charlotte Atkinson fondly recalls the first Boojum she ever ate.
She said: “My eyes were opened to the world. It changed my life.”
