Bath the tenth best university in the UK
We beat Exeter
Bath has been ranked as the tenth best university in the UK in the latest Guardian university rankings.
Our university beat the likes of Birmingham and Exeter, but fell five place compared to last year’s fifth place.
The rest of the top ten are Cambridge, Oxford, St Andrews, Surrey, Loughborough, Durham, Imperial, Lancaster and Warwick.
Bath received a score of 79.9 out of 100, and scored particularly highly for “satisfied with course”. Only Surrey and Oxford of the universities above us managed a higher score in this category.
Of the rest of the top ten, only Cambridge, Oxford and Imperial received a higher score for “career after six months”, suggesting we’re all in for a very bright future.

Bath Spa remain stuck much further down the table and are ranked 66th, falling down the rankings by five places since last year.
