Memorial dinner to be held for Stefan Osgood
The meal is organised for Tuesday the 15th at the Pier Brasserie
Nathan CooganAber Snow have elected to cancel their regular social on Tuesday night to throw a memorial dinner for Stefan Osgood, who recently passed away in his residence at Penglais Fferm.
Stefan was the Vice-President of the popular Aber Snow society and touched many of their lives with his happy and smiley personality, and so given the sad circumstances his friends started up a JustGiving page for a charity Stefan had chosen himself for the club to support this year, Mind.
Mind is a mental health charity that on their website says: “We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.”
The JustGiving page, set up by Marc Cooper, has already smashed their taget to raise £500 and currently sits at £3,130 with 220 donations – a staggering 626 per cent above their target.
The pages description says: “This donation page is there for all who wish to help support an amazing cause in memory of a brilliant, vertically challenged and larger than life character; Stefan Osgood.
“To all who knew him we will be holding a memorial dinner in his honor on the 15th March and you are more than welcome to join us. If you are unable to join us please consider donating to this page for a truly amazing cause.”
