As a skint student it's important to squeeze every last penny out of your latest SAAS instalment, so The Aberdeen Tab's got you covered for all the sweet sweet deals and discounts that Aberdeen has to offer to help you make the most of your student budget.

The Bobbin

As AU's adopted Students' Union obviously they're gonna provide some great deals. They have a burger and drink deal where you can get a burger meal and a soft drink or an alcoholic one from as little as £7.75. They also have Pancake Tuesday when it's 25p per pancake all day and Wing Wednesday when it's 25p per wing all day. Also check out the MORE card which earns you points which you can then spend on food and drink.

Shakes 'n' Cakes

The renowned one-stop dessert shop offer 10 per cent off all items on their menu across all of their branches (Spital, Great Northern Road and Union Square) to us hard-working students. Go on, treat yourself.

Triplekirks

By joining certain university societies you can get monthly deals on food and drink by using a QR code provided by your chosen society. You can also use the MORE card here as well and the points can be earned and spent in all applicable venues (in Aberdeen this includes Triplekirks, Bobbin and Slains Castle).

Revolution

This year many of the university's societies are giving out Club and Society cards to its members which get you multiple discounts on food and drink. Single flavour shots at £1.50, Magners at £2.95 a pint and 50 per cent off food to name a few.

Bridge Street Social Club

Get yourself a AAA card and of you go! 50 per cent off food on Mondays, 25 per cent off cocktails and Free Food Wednesdays. Just go in and ask for one and you can get the deals straight away and it's free to get.

Almost as good as a Nando's black card

Underground

Your AAA card that you got in BSSC works here too! Free entry before midnight with the standard but if you join certain societies you get a fancy Societies AAA *ooooo* get's you all the same deals as the standard card but with free entry all night long.

Hands up if you love a discount

ATIK

Another reason to join a society, Atik fob. £2 before 12pm, £3 after on a Skite Wednesday, discount entry on a Vanity Friday, free until 11.30 on a Saturday. They're tiny wee buggers though so keep an eye on them don't wanna loose those sweet discounts.

PURE Spa Union Square

Needing a pamper? This place offers students 20 per cent off Monday through Thursday and 10 per cent off from Friday to Sunday. Get yourself a manicure, get those brows on fleek or relax with a massage. The team there are lovely so don't be scared to go all out with the waxing.

Codona's

What better place to spend a Monday night that the city's famous Codona's. Mondays are their student nights where you can bowl for £1.49 per game and have a round of Adventure golf for £1.99.

Brand new to the Aberdeen scene is this inflatable theme park-cum-bouncy castle kingdom. We've been told by the team over there that they're currently in the process of setting up a BOGOF deal on weekday bounce sessions.
