New cafe’s policy to employ Aberdeen’s homeless

Finally someone is going to try and fix the problem


St Nicholas and The Bon Accord Centre have joined an inititive to give homeless people skills that could set them for life.

A new 50’s style diner is set to arrive to the mean streets of Aberdeen in April.

The charity Springboard-Scotland aims to get the jobless back into work.

It’s so American, St Andrews are demanding one

Not only will they train up people on JSA but they’ll give them food as well.

Ed’s Easy Diner has restaurants up and down the country, including six in London.

And their new company policy means that a quarter of new employees must be homeless.

Good on them.
