The people have spoken and now Ewen, The Nominee, will bungee 175ft off a crane. 

Ewen Reid, 21, will take the RAG bungee plunge after winning a comfortable 55 per cent of our vote – find him on King’s Playing Fields at 2pm today.

People’s champion Ewen beat The Bouncer by 30 per cent, scooping up 1451 votes out of the 2626 total.

The law student said: “I’m not sure whether that I have a lot of friends or a lot of people who really don’t like me.”

And it looks like the Ed Sheeran look-a-like will be crumbling like pastry as he anticipates the drop.

He added: “I’m not overly fond of heights. I didn’t anticipate winning the poll when I agreed to be on it.

“Now it’s a reality and the time has been set I am incredibly scared.”
