Jimmy Chung’s – fire in the hole!
Jimmy Chung’s restaurant on the Beach Esplanade went up in flames in the early hours.
Rachel DonaldOver 70 firefighters tackled the blaze at 4:30 this morning at Jimmy Chung’s restaurant. The blaze spread to a nearby seafood restaurant but was controlled by the team.
The firefighters were still there at 1pm this afternoon controlling the flames.
The cause of the fire is still unknown although there are concerns that it was due to the high content of chemicals in the food that was used to make rat taste like chicken.
Thankfully no one has been hurt and so Aberdeen can breathe a guilt-free sigh of relief that it will never have to endure the food poisoning that always follows a trip to that chinese buffet again.
