We asked the McDonald’s bouncer for his Valentine’s advice

He was a real sweetheart

According to the bouncers in Maccy’s, Valentine’s day is a day to remember St Valentine.

Glad we cleared that one up. The pair didn’t seem to be the most romantic of Lotharios, instead finding deeper meaning in the 14th of February:

“Love shouldn’t be celebrated on the 14th. It should be celebrated every day of the year.

The Cupid of fast food

“Valentine’s Day isn’t just for lovers, it’s a day to remember all loved ones.”

We’ll try to remember that one when my Instagram is riddled with bouquets and teddies come Friday.

As for the boys, there are no wives, partners or girlfriends on the scene. They are both firmly alone this year and plan to “love everyone we come across” this Valentine’s Day. Single ladies, that’s your cue to go along for a romantic Big Mac meal.

Lastly, we were advised to celebrate the day of love by thinking about our parents and siblings. I’m sure he was trying to kind but it just reminded me the only people that love me are those that are genetically inclined to.

Happy Valentine’s day everyone.
