Fresh from their Moda Parties, BBC Essential Mixes and residencies at one of Ibiza’s biggest clubs, Space – J&AG are the up and coming pair in the deep house scene. Their own the record label, Moda Black, has been responsible for outputs from artists such as Hot Since 82, Huxley, Disclosure, Eats Everything, Claude VonStroke, and Mia Dora, and their sets are pruned to perfection. The boys have nailed down two of the most famous residencies in the world, Space Ibiza and Fabric in London, and that is not something to be disregarded when considering a set. The parties they hold in London are renowned as being some of the best in the city.

Their producing such as the ripper, ‘Remember’ as well as the remix of ‘Knee Deep in Louise’ by Hot Since 82, has garnered the attention from House stalwarts such as MK, Jamie Jones, and their tracks have exploded across the world. Moda Black has been the route to recognition for many DJs such as Disclosure, Hot Since 82, Ben Pearce and many others and was nominated for Record Label of the Year by Mixmag Magazine as well as championed by dance music King Pete Tong and Annie Mac.

We at the Tab are stoked that they are coming up to Aberdeen, and this party is not to be missed. This is the choice party when it comes to the month of February and nicely tucked in on a Tuesday – post exams – it’s no struggle.

Tickets are available from Resident Advisor, from Snafu PRs, as well as from the Athenaeum Bar.
