Wait, are Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid now dating?

Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid are now reportedly dating, according to a report by People Magazine after multiple sources suggested the two were getting to know each other, follow Leo’s split with Camila Munroe.

One source told People Magazine “Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi” and another said the two had been hanging out in groups of friends. They said: “They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people. It’s only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he’s been hanging out with friends and family.”

However, the third source claimed the pair had been “getting to know each other” but weren’t actually dating just yet, which would make a lot of sense considering Gigi Hadid is 27 years old, two years older than the age of Leo’s usual girlfriends.

Following Leo’s breakup with 25-year-old actress Camila Munroe earlier this month a chart went viral online which tracked Leo’s past relationships and revealed he has appeared to never had a girlfriend over the age of 25 years old.

The chart was created by a user on Reddit in 2019 when Leo first began dating the then 22 year-old Camilla. It tracks the ages of Leo’s girlfriends over the last 20 years and shows he has never dated someone over the age of 25 years old.

In fact, the chart shows how Leo has broken up with three women around the time they reached 25. One example the chart cites is Leo’s relationship with model Bar Refaeli, which began when she was 20 years old and ended when she was 25 years old. A similar pattern also happened when Leo dated Kelly Rohrbach and Nina Agdal, breaking up with both women when they were 25.

A source close to Leo told the New York Post the reason Leo stops dating women after they reach their mid 20s is because they’re looking to settle down and have a family, which is not something he’s interested in.

They said: “By the time girls reach 25, they’re looking for more – they’re looking to get married and settle down. That is not what Leo wants. He does not want a family and does not want to be around women who may press him for that.

“The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking. If she gets too old, in a couple of years, she is gone. If she gets too close, in a couple of years, she is gone.”

If this is truly the case then it can’t make a lot of sense why Leo is pursuing Gigi who is 27 years old, and already a mum to two-year-old daughter Khai Hadid Malik, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik.

Since the rumours began of Leo dating Gigi, Gigi’s dad Mohamed Hadid has spoken out and said he likes Leo but isn’t sure if the pair are dating.

Speaking to the Daily Mail yesterday Mohamed said: “I met Mr. DiCaprio in St. Tropez four or five years ago and he is a very nice man. I liked him.

“They are friends. They have known each other for some time. I don’t think they are dating. I believe they are just good friends. But I really don’t know. I don’t comment on my daughter’s personal relationships. I have no say in who she’s dating.”
