Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II yesterday, a number of reality stars including many Love Island contestants have shared their condolences and tributes to her.
Yesterday evening it was announced the Queen had died peacefully at her Balmoral estate. Buckingham Palace shared a statement saying: “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”
Since her death there has been an outpouring of grief and many tributes shared on social media, with many celebrities posting personal messages about their love for the Queen and thanking her for her service to the country.
Former Love Island contestants such as Molly-Mae Hague, Indiyah Polack and Olivia Attwood took to Instagram to share images of the Queen and pay their respects. Former TOWIE cast member Gemma Collins shared a poem dedicated to the Queen and Too Hot To Handle’s Emily Miller shared a drawing of the Queen reuniting with Prince Philip saying it had made her cry.
