Meet Maria Bregova: The 22-year-old uni student apparently dating Leonardo DiCaprio

He’s (allegedly) at it again, lads – Leonardo DiCaprio has been spotted out and about with a 22-year-old woman.

The actor was reportedly pictured with model Maria Beregova in Saint Tropez back in July, just one month before the Hollywood actor announced his split from 25-year-old Camila Morrone. Maria was interviewed on Australian radio about the encounter with Leonardo, to which she replied: “I cannot discuss anything regarding my personal life.”

But, she said she had seen Titanic: “Who hasn’t seen this movie?” she joked. “If you haven’t seen it, you better go home and put it on and watch that movie.”

So, just who exactly is Maria Beregova, and what was she up to before the reports came out?

Although she moved around several different countries growing up, Maria is originally from Ukraine. She finally settled in Switzerland when her family, who own a pharmaceutical business, sent her to a private boarding school.

The model has been married before

Although she’s only 22, Maria has previously been married to 30-year-old Ahmed Masoud Abdelhafid. Ahmed owns a property and fashion company, according to his LinkedIn, and reportedly split from Maria earlier in July. While on the trip to Saint Tropez with Leonardo DiCaprio, Maria allegedly started using her maiden name again.

While it’s uncertain which uni she’s actually at, Maria is reportedly studying business law in London. Although she currently works as a model, she aims to represent her family’s business in the future.

She has 67k followers on Instagram

Maria is pretty much a star in her own right, with tens of thousands of Instagram followers. She’s always posting about her life in London, as well as plenty of fashion content and trips taken on her private jet.
