Everything the Love Island 2022 finalists have been up to since the show

They’ve been keeping busy!

It’s been an entire month since the Love Island 2022 finalists sat in the villa and waited to find out who had won the show this year. Of course, Ekin-Su and Davide were named champs, and since then all the Islanders’ lives have changed dramatically.

Already the finalists are moving in together, signing huge brand deals and going on dates and making things official. Here’s what the Love Island 2022 finalists have been up to since the show ended.

Straight after the show, it was announced Ekin-Su and Davide would be getting a travel show together, and I don’t think anyone has had a good night’s sleep since. Speaking on The Big Breakfast, the couple confirmed: “We are going on a road trip to Italy and Turkey, for one week in Italy and one week in Turkey. We are going to be on ITV2, and it’s going to be like our own programme.” The show is expected to show them cooking for one another, and Davide said it might drop around the end of September.

On top of this, Ekin-Su has signed what is being reported as the biggest fashion deal in Love Island history. It’s apparently worth seven figures (yes, that is in the millions) and will see her as the new face of Oh Polly. A source told The Sun: “After speaking with all the major fashion brands Ekin-Su wanted to work with a brand that aligned her own values of sustainability and therefore decided against signing to a fast fashion brand. She’s the most in demand Love Island star ever.”

Straight after this, Ekin-Su celebrated her 28th birthday, and Davide went IN on the party. He had a huge cake made, their London hotel room decorated with balloons and photos of them together put up everywhere. The couple then went out to the city’s Luxx Club in Mayfair.

Right now, Ekin-Su is living in up in LA, where she is said to be working on a “fashion project”. Whilst she’s been there, Davide was papped getting into the back of a taxi with two other women, after leaving a KSI fight. Naturally, the internet has gone into meltdown over the pictures, but no context has been given yet.

Gemma and Luca

Gemma and Luca left the villa as seeing each other, but not official. They shared loads of pictures of Luca visiting her huge family mansion, and Luca came along to a holiday where he finally got to meet Michael Owen.

Gemma has been announced as PrettyLittleThing’s latest brand ambassador, signing a year long contract. She will be designing a number of collections for the brand and is also expected to be helping PrettyLittleThing launch its resale platform “PLT Marketplace” which is meant to be a move towards sustainability. The deal is reported to be worth six figures.

Most recently, Gemma and Luca have finally gone official and are boyfriend and girlfriend. After leaving the villa, Luca said he had plans for the big moment to be “something to do with a pool” and he followed through, with red balloons reading “be my girlfriend” spread out across a swimming pool. They had the entire thing filmed, obviously.

Ngl, the whole video is a little bit cursed. With intense soft focus, very close-up shots and a feeling that the should-be genuine and surprising moment was very much staged. I just want to know who filmed this, ok?

Indiyah and Dami

Indiyah and Dami have also shared some couple milestones since they left the Love Island 2022 villa as finalists. The couple have said that in mid-September they plan to start looking at places to move in together. Indiyah is from London, and Dami has recently moved there to make it easier to spend more time with her. “I’m living with my grandma right now,” he told The Sun. She lives in south London, so a lot of my family are trying to keep me there for a while. It’s nice because I’m spending time with my grandma, but I’m always going to be an Irish boy.”

Indiyah is doing bits, and is reportedly on her way to “eclipsing” the other Islanders this year with their post-villa work success. She’s just been signed to Boots, as a beauty ambassador.

She’s said to be “on course to be the most successful Islander of all time” and is thought to be “in talks” with Boohoo for a fashion deal. An insider told The Sun: “Indiyah really has the world at her fingertips right now. She didn’t put a step wrong in the villa so it’s no surprise people are rushing to work with her. She could easily make it big in America – there’s a lot of buzz around her at the moment.”

Right now though, Indiyah is living her best life – being pictured at Notting Hill Carnival. She went on the Sunday and Monday and was seen on floats, stages and taking pictures with fans. Dami wasn’t there with her. Dami’s been busy too, though! He’s done sponsored work with Coca Cola at All Points East festival and has been attending film festivals.

Tasha and Andrew

Tasha and Andrew have basically been loved up and being cute since they left the Love Island villa. They’ve recently got matching tattoos, and are currently flat hunting in London for a place together. They went to a Coldplay concert with Tasha’s parents and celebrated Tasha’s birthday at the Shangri-La at The Shard.

The first official brand deal with a member of the Love Island 2022 cast came just days after the show ended, and is with Tasha. She has been announced as the first ever pre-loved ambassador with eBay, who sponsored the show this year. This is the first fashion partnership with an Islander that has been with a non-fast fashion brand.
