10 years later, this is what the cast of Tracy Beaker Returns is up to now
The actress who played Tee is pregnant!
It’s been just over 10 years since the final episode of Tracy Beaker Returns aired and the cast of arguably the best show on CBBC has been pretty busy.
Tracy Beaker Returns was the first spin-off series from the original Story of Tracy Beaker and saw a now adult Tracy Beaker return to the Dumping Ground but this time as an assistant care worker. It ran for three seasons and a new spin-off came out a year later called The Dumping Ground which many of the cast appeared in.
But it wasn’t just CBBC shows the cast worked on. A few of them have gone onto star in big Netflix productions like Mia McKenna-Bruce (who played Tee) who starred in the new adaptation of Persuasion alongside Dakota Johnson. Outside of work there’s been marriages, babies and a university degree.
This is everything the cast of Tracy Beaker Returns is up to now:
Tracy Beaker – Dani Harmer
No matter what she does in her career Dani Harmer will always be the one and only Tracy Beaker. Following on from the original Tracy Beaker series and Tracy Beaker returns, Dani continued acting on CBBC starring in her own show called Dani’s House, and a later show called Dani’s Castle. Most recently she’s returned as an adult Tracy Beaker on CBBC in two other shows called My Mum Tracy Beaker and The Beaker Girls.
Aside from acting Dani has starred in Strictly Come Dancing where she finished in fourth place, and competed on Celebrity Come Dine With Me, Pointless and Celebrity Mastermind. She’s also been in a few pantomimes over the years, most recently as Snow White.
Dani is currently in a relationship with Simon Brough and the couple have two children together, a daughter named Avarie-Belle Betsy Rachel Brough and a son called Rowan León James Brough, who was born earlier this year.
Carmen – Amy-Leigh Hickman
Amy-Leigh Hickman took on the role of Carmen who was the outgoing and girly child in the Dumping Ground. Tracy Beaker Returns was her first ever acting role and she appeared in all three seasons of the show before continuing her role as Carmen for the next three years in the series The Dumping Ground.
After leaving the show in 2016 Amy-Leigh went onto have a recurring role in Eastenders as Linzi Bragg. She then went onto star in the series Ackley Bridge on Channel 4 in 2017 for two years.
Amy-Leigh has also had main roles in Netflix’s Safe and BBC’s Our Girl. Amy-Leigh recently starred in the latest season of YOU on Netflix, alongside Penn Badgley and Tilly Keeper.
Tee – Mia McKenna-Bruce
Mia McKenna-Bruce was acting long before she started her role as the sweet Tee Taylor on Tracy Beaker Returns. She appeared in episodes of Eastenders, Holby City, The Bill and Doctors before landing the role of Tee. Since then she has appeared in all three series of Tracy Beaker Returns, and for five years in the spin-off show The Dumping Ground.
More recently Mia has had main roles in the BBC drama Get Even, Sky Cinema’s The Last Train To Christmas, an episode of The Witcher and in Netflix’s Persuasion alongside Dakota Johnson. Her next role is set to be a TV adaptation of the novels Vampire Academy.
Mia is currently in a relationship with actor and TikToker Tom Leach, who went viral with a video where he got Mia to pronounce Wasabi incorrectly. The pair seem to have met whilst both appearing in the TV show The Rebels in 2019.
Mia recently announced that she is expecting her first child with her partner Tom Leach. In a sweet Instagram post, Mia wrote: “Don’t think we can hide this much longer. We can’t wait to meet you baby.”

Noah has studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has 14,000 Instagram followers.
Sapphire – Saffron Coomber
Tracy Beaker Returns wasn’t Saffron Coomber’s first Jacqueline Wilson adaptation, in fact the first movie she appeared in was the adaptation of Dustin Baby.

She’s appeared on stage in a production called Leopards and has published a book of poetry called Breathe Into The Bones.

Most recently he’s appeared on stage in the one man show The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me and he told PinkNews it was his first time playing a gay character even though he himself is gay.
Elektra – Jessica Revell
Jessica Revell joined the second season of Tracy Beaker Returns as rebellious Elektra and over the years she reprised her role in The Dumping Ground.
She hasn’t done a lot of acting outside of CBBC but has appeared in an episode of Doctors and Casualty. In 2018 she released her debut single Cardiff Kisses.
Jessica has over 30,000 followers on Instagram and appears to be close to her former co-star Mia Mckenna-Bruce often posting birthday tributes to her.

Daniel Pearson took on the role of Rick in the final season of Tracy Beaker Returns and had a signature Justin Bieber style hair cut.

Harry – Philip Graham Scott
Harry was the youngest member of the Tracy Beaker Returns group and he was played by Philip Graham Scott.
